Albany Door Slabs are available in textured fiberglass, smooth fiberglass, textured steel and smooth steel.
Steel Replacement Frames
The 18 gauge steel replacement frame is designed for an extremely easy install. It is purposely undersized to retrofit onto the existing frame. Basically, you just pop it in place and attach it with a couple screws.
New Construction Wood Frames
The Standard wood frame we use on our new construction units are known as Frame Savers®. These frames are one of the most exciting additions to the Albany Door product line because they are guaranteed for life. In addition to this offering, we also offer fir and oak. The Frame Saver® frames can also be purchased as a fire rated frame. Fir jambs can sometimes be an ideal alternative to oak because of its less expensive cost and similar pronounced grain.

One of our newest most exciting additions to our product line is our ABS material. Rot free, durable, and virtually trouble free, are just some of the reasons why we are proud to feature this brand new product. ABS is classified as a thermoplastic and is known for its good shock absorbance.
